For Our Client, an international production company with its Polish Headquarters in Warsaw, we are looking for the Financial Controller.

 

Financial Controller
Warsaw

Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyse monthly management reports, semi-annual financial reporting, budgeting, long-term strategic planning of the Polish operating entities
  • Provide regular reports, provide the analysis of performance and forecasts
  • Prepare presentations and commentaries as needed for key stakeholders
  • Understand key issues facing the operating entity (trading performance, Operating cash, forecasts, KPI's etc.)
  • Liaise with local Financial Directors and Controllers on financial performance of operations, budget preparation, forecasting, strategic plan preparation, impairment testing and other processes throughout the year
  • Participate in preparation of consolidated Financial Statements
  • Coordinate the process of capital expenditure acquisition, disposal proposals preparation and approval
  • Review of internal control procedures and SOX compliance
  • Implement ?best practice? policies

Key Competencies

  • +5 years of professional experience in finance preferably in production company 
  • Strong management and financial accounting knowledge
  • Advanced knowledge of reporting, budgeting and forecasting process
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly analyse and validate financial and performance data
  • Very strong analytical and logical skills with ability to draw appropriate conclusions and identify inconsistences
  • Demonstrated ability to present and defend opinions/conclusions
  • Drive for results combined with strong attention to details
  • Provide high quality work in terms of equally substance and form
  • Ability to identify areas for improvement and effectively drive the change
  • Knowledge of IFRS
  • Strong IT orientated with excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially advanced Excel and Powerpoint
  • Experience in various reporting systems
  • ACCA qualifications/in progress would be an advantage
  • Fluent English
